- You will then be redirected to the MDES Applicant Services page. Scroll down the page and then click on the Create New User option.
- On the next page, Enter
- SSN and confirm it by entering it again.
- First Name, Middle Initial, and Last Name.
- Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY)
- After you have provided your details, please click on the checkbox “I’m not a robot” and click the Next button.
- Next, create a User ID* and Password. enter your Email address as well. Your email address will be verified by MDES.
That’s it, you have created your MDES account, now you can claim your unemployment insurance claim or find a new job.
*User ID should be between 6 to 20 characters and should start with a letter and the password should be 8 to 15 characters with 1 lower case letter, 1upper case letter, 1 number, and 1 symbol (! @ # $).
